             The people who were in the refugee camps were always suffering from starvation and sickness. They had no choice on how they were treated, they were all treated bad. Many parents would risk their lives to try to feed there children before them. A lot of the officers didn't care if there was kids they would hurt them just as bad as everyone else in the camp. No one tried to help them and no one felt bad for them. Many people and their children died in those camps from starvation or bad health, no one was there to help, they took things day by day trying to survive on there own.

My name is Crystal Celeste Alvarez, im 17 years old, I love to dance and hang out with my friends. I have been at Raul since the 6th and 7th grade, I left 8th and 9th and came back 10th and I plan on graduating from here. I have a job as hostess at pappas seafood house. I have been working for about a year already and i like it. I like that I can have a job and I can maintin good grades. My goals in life are to graduate high school and go to college. I want to become a registered nurse.
